Per 5 mL Al hydroxide 306 mg, Mg hydroxide 110 mg, simethicone 30 mg
Indications/Uses
Relieves colic, flatulence, abdominal pain due to gastric hyperacidity or peptic & duodenal ulcer. Carminative.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 1-4 tsp. Childn 6-12 yr 1-2 tsp, 3-6 yr ½ to 1 tsp.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 30 min before or 1 hr after meals.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Not to be taken for >2 wk. Patients recently suffered from massive upper GI hemorrhage. Avoid intake at least 2 hr before or after pill.
Adverse Reactions
Diarrhea; hypermagnesemia in renal failure patients; constipation; osteomalacia, hypophosphatemia; Al accumulation in serum, bone & CNS.
